COMMON QUESTIONS Does it matter if I can not attend all 5 sessions? Absolutely not! You will still gain so much from the sessions you do participate in, and you only pay for the sessions you attend!   I am new to exercise is this suitable? YES!! Building strong and balanced glutes provide a strong foundation and can prevent injury, an absolute must when starting or getting back into exercise. I just had a baby, are these exercises appropriate for me? As long as you have had the 'all clear' from your doctor to start exercise then this is the perfect program for you to start back with. Building strong and balanced glutes and core provide a strong foundation and prevent injury after having a baby. Are the exercises pelvic floor safe? Yes!! One of the main goals of this bootcamp is to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles so none of the exercises are high risk to this area. Like all my sessions, if you are not comfortable performing an exercise I am more than happy to adjust it for you. I have an injury or chronic health condition, will this be suitable for me? Please feel welcome to speak to me more specifically about this as I am a very experienced and educated trainer I am more than happy to adjust exercises to suit you. In some more serious issues please note that you may be asked to provide a medical clearance from your doctor to participate. Is it ok if I have a gym membership somewhere else? Absolutely! This bootcamp runs over 5 weeks with absolutely no strings attached for you to commit to any other sessions with me. During these sessions my goal for you would be to not only strengthen your glutes and core, but for you to walk away feeling empowered, encouraged and inspired to take what you have learnt back into your gym sessions. Will this make my butt big? Glute exercises will shape and strengthen the muscles. Clients usually find the muscles will increase slightly in size providing a more perky appearance. Clients who have a more predominate covering of fat over their glutes (like me!) can notice fat reduction and change of shape. Will it just be glute exercises? No. Glutes will be our main focus but we will also perform exercises to target the rest of the core muscles groups – Abdominals, Diaphragm, Pelvic Floor, and Back. I have a good range of equipment and large variety of exercises, therefore you will work other muscles through-out the entire body. Will I be sore afterwards? Yes, but my aim for you is not to be too sore. Depending on your current activity level, clients will experience different degrees of DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). This is completely normal, particularly when introducing exercise to a muscle or when you increase the activity level for it. During our sessions I will teach you how to stretch out muscles and provide nutritional information which can support decreasing the affects of DOMS. Can I bring my children along? Unfortunately we do not have a safe area for children to play in while you are training. We understand it can be difficult to exercise when you have children to look after but have found many of our clients prefer to train without the responsibility of their children so they can stay focused on the session. If you are not in a position to train without your children we are more than happy to recommend some local gyms with child safe areas/minding. How do I pay? Pay per session you attend. We accept cash and bank transfer. What do I wear and bring with me to the sessions? Wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in. Most clients opt for leggings, yoga pants, shorts, or loose fitting pants (light or tracksuit) with a tshirt/singlet and runners. Bring a bottle of water, large towel, your yoga mat (optional, we do have some here) and emergency medication eg. Ventilon, anaphylactic injection etc. if it is required.
